Local crafts and ancestral traditions on Koh Yao Yai
Board a speedboat from Phuket for an immersive day in the heart of Koh Yao Yai. Explore the island on board a tuk-tuk and discover the charms of an unspoilt and authentic land. Make your first stop in a rice field, where your guide will share the essential gestures of rice planting. Then visit the neighboring farm to learn how to sort and wash the rice, an ideal place to discover the prowess of a tame monkey. Then immerse yourself in the world of a rubber plantation, revealing the process of transforming sap into rubber.
Local art and lunch in paradise
Soak up the traditional art of batik in a local village house, while the more creative can pick up their brushes and try their hand at this painting technique straight from Indonesia. Afterwards, head to a secluded beach where you’ll enjoy lunch in a local waterside restaurant, offering panoramic views over Phang Nga Bay.

Sandbank and marine discovery
Take a break before setting off again, stopping at a sandbank that stretches as far as the eye can see, to enjoy a moment of relaxation and swimming. Then hop back on board the speedboat for a stop to discover the secrets of the sea during a visit to an open-ocean fish farm, home to lobsters, a variety of fish and leopard sharks.
Exploring Krabi Island: Koh Nok, a tropical jewel
Take a break on the small island paradise of Koh Nok, nestled in the heart of the tropical islands of Krabi. Take advantage of your free time to swim in the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea, surrounded by the serenity of this unspoilt island.

How long is the journey to Koh Yao Yai?
Allow around 30 minutes by speedboat from the Phuket pier. If you’re coming from Khao Lak, you’ll need to allow about 2 hours for the journey to Phuket (depending on your departure hotel).
How much swimming time is planned during the day?
A first 30-minute swim on Koh Yao Yai’s sandbank, then a second lounging session at the end of the day on Koh Nok. Allow around 1h30 on site.
